Well,I was going to check the tightness of some stuff on the back of the engine and I scratched up my arms (as many times before) and I finally threw the towel in and took one of the plastic screws out of the rear hood weather stripping and drove over to home depot to look for some kinda cap I could covers these little devils with and bought 6 Everbilt #755-472 rubber stoppers (1/2inchX5/16inch )and then drilled a small starter hole in them with a 1/32 drill bit then went to a 5/16 drill bit and drilled almost to the end of the cap. They look great and are bendable and are black and fit real snug and tight(see at home depot web site).I'm buying more tomorrow. And hey,if they fall off,I'll JB weld the little suckers on.They are $.60 each but I don't care.Even though I'm semi retired,I still deal with the public and I don't want to give the impression that I like cuts all over my arms and have to explain why they are there. Thanks for reading.My02. Hope this helps somebody,or if somebody has a better idea I'm all ears.
