Sandblasting the intake....
 

Can i sandblast the intake, or do i have to be beadblast it?
I painted it red and do not like it very much. I am going to polish it, so i need to get is as clean as possible :)

Either will work.

bead would be a much better choice on the aluminum intake.

I noticed that the machine shop that blasted mine also "roughed up" the injector holes a little.

Do those need to be polished-like?

If you're going to polish the entire intake I'd sand blast it and then glass bead blast it. If you want a look close to polished but w/ much less work, you could have it ceramic coated.
