Removing Sail Panel...

I have a 1994 Camaro and I am in the process of removing the interior from my car in order to spray the interior with the 3m undercoating. I am doing this because I want to lower the outside road noise. I am also hoping it may help with the car audio.

I see there is a slot for a flat headed screw driver to put in the middle of the coat hanger area. I was able to pop the little tab out about 1/4 of an inch on both sail panels but I didnt know if the middle tab where you put your screw driver under was supposed to come out completly and there was a screw behind it securing the panel to the car. If anyone has any experience removing the sail panel I would be much appreciative.

Thanks,

Kendall

I've pulled mine, which shouldnt be much different. When you pull that tab it releases little hooks on the inside. There isnt a screw behind it. Other than that clip its just peices of velcro type stuff

Keep tugging on those clothes hooks. They are a pain to get all the way out.
