i signed up for a sponsorship and i got a call the other day saying they are interested in sponsoring my car the place is called Team SCP Street Car Preformance. just wondering if anyone has heard anyhting about it or if anyone knows if its a scam or if its for real

 

Hmm, let's see...you signed up for a sponsorship, and a place calls wanting to sponsor your car...yep, sounds like a scam to me.

 

Hmm maybe maybe not. When I had my 350z with multiple mods and wanting some rims I called up the company. I asked about a sponsership and they told me the discount but would have to take pictures at events, attend so many events a year, maybe have thier logo on my car. You would be surprised how many companys out there will give discounts or free stuff for the things being used on your car and attending venues.

 

I ran into a guy on a deployment who was awarded a 15g sponsorship. All he had to do to fulfil the contract was attend three races and/or three shows in a year.

 

i am shipoopie's friend and i am looking into this sponsorship thing to....but im def scared i dont wanna get ripped off..... seems to good to be true u know?

 

the scams with sponcership will either make you pay them and/or they steal your car... either way you need to research deep even if its legit NEVER hand them the keys or title and read EVERYTHING before commiting or signing anything.

You know what they say... 'if it's too good to be true... guess what... it is'
