Power windows and car starting...

When I go to start my car it seems as though it delays for 1-2 seconds after i turn the key and then it seems to start. Almost like my car needs viagra to start. The only comparison I could give would be a young construction worker getting up after break and a old journyman. It just seems as though its getting old?

Also my power windows work fine as far as speed, considering they are 10 years old. However I cannot roll up or down both windows at the same time. I have to roll one window up at a time or one window down at a time. It just seems as though the voltage gets split in half when i try to roll them both up or down. If I try to roll them both up or down at the same time they will slow down almost instentaniously and then stop. I can then hit the passenger or driver side only and roll it up fine, then roll the other one up. I was just wondering if this was a normal thing or if my alternator might be going out.

That window thing is normal. It's strange, and I can't explain it, and I'm sure someone CAN, but it's definetly normal. My camaro, and my town car are the same way.

your car is an m6, I notice that when I start my car, I have to make sure that the pedal is ALL the way to the floor before it will turn over. Just a thought...

My windows too-

If I want them both down I will typically put one down then wate a second and put the other down, I can do both, but their really slow.

I had some friends over yesterday and they have a 97 Z28 and it's the same way.
