Power Window Motors on Camaro

Couldn't fit the right forum to put this in so I threw it here. Feel free to move it if you find something more appropriate.

Anyways. Passenger side power window has not been functioning. I am pretty sure it is the motor since I do not here the motor noise when trying to power the window up. It moves up and down a little bit, about .5 inches every time I click it. But I have to wait about a minute or two before I can click the power window switch again. So basically if I want to roll down the window its gonna be a few hours :P.

I bought a motor from kragen and was going to install it with my brother today. He took a look at it and said I would need riviting so that we couldn't do it.

Anyone have any guides on how to install it or will I need to take it into the shop?

Thanks
Jason

Welcome to the club - www.shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html The motor should've come with small bolts/nuts to replace the rivets that need to drilled out. You can do it.

I had the same problem on my '96, found a defective switch. Real cheap fix.

I used screws instead of rivets and it's held up good.
