Power Steering Pump Bolts, How to Remove?
I am trying to replace the accessory bracket in my car since the alternator part snapped. I have everything off, except for the steering pump. I removed the low pressure side (what i think is the low pressure, the one that slips on). The high pressure side, however, does not want to budge. The flare nut that is holding it on is made out of some really cheap metal, and ended up rounding off (used a 16mm wrench, the correct size?). I tried disconnecting it from the rack and pinion and the same thing happened, the nut got rounded off. So now I have two flare nuts, that are rounded off, and cannot disconnect the power steering pump to save my life. I tried using a vice grips and channel lock after they got rounded, but the teeth end up taking metal away cause the nut is made so poorly. Any ideas on how I can get this off?
EDIT: got it off finally. Just needed a little more motivation

Your supposed to use Tubing Wrenches on these!!!!
I've found that if you put a little pressure on the wrench, then smack it really hard with your hand, the nut will usually break free and be undamaged.

If you've rounded them off, well, I suppose you could get a replacement hose from a bone yard first, and once you have the part in hand, you can then go at the existing hose with a hacksaw, then remove the fitting on the workbench, and replace the hose with the substitute when its time to put it back together. Use a tubing wrench next time.
