Power antenna swap

What does it take to swap the power antenna from a Firebird(1998+) to a Z28(1996) that never had one? I found the antenna/motor unit with the wiring to the connector. Right after the connector the wires are cut. Is this a simple plug-in?

Thanks!

You will need to wire it. The Camaro harness does not have the wires in it.

4th gen Camaro was never offered with a power antenna mast.

If you have the stock head unit I don't think it will work, But if you get a aftermarket one it should my aftermarket head unit had a wire to hook up a power antenna.

The stock radio has a power antenna lead, you just have to hook into it at the back of the radio.

I use it as a trigger lead for my amp.

It's probably more trouble than it's worth; I really hate to wire anything.
Thanks, though.
