Newbie Advice 95 V6 3.4 Tranny Engine Help

Hey, I have a 1995 Camaro, V6 3.4l ...just bought it a few weeks back, oil was BLACK, changed it and the previous "owner" said it needed plugs (along with lots more unfortunatly) All good I wanted a project. My question is the tranny fluid, its dark too, maybe not burnt but looks in need of a change? Should I have the Chevy dealer "flush" it, or just drop the pan and replace the filter/ pan fluid? Ive heard all the stories and dont know if it has ever been changed. I have an apt. with the dealer to work on everything else next week, can't decide on this and dont want to replace tranny down the road anytime soon.

She has 136k miles. First gear is hard shifting, rest seem fine. She is sluggish b/c the plugs are shot, fixing the following in the next week:

Plugs (maybe wires), Rear shocks, Tranny mount and Flush/pan drop? Hatch struts, Cold Air K&N, Replace/remove Stat, ???

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

Since nobody else chimed in here goes.
Plugs and WIRES.
Power flush the trans. Not just the normal trans flush.
Change the gas filter
Change the brake fluid
Change the coolant with a new thermostat.
Check the hoses
Change the rear end differential fluid
Change the power steering fluid
Run as fast as you can away from the dealer
Find a local shop that can handle this at a reasonable price.
Hope this helps. The dealer has young mechanics that cannot work on your car and make you happy.My02.
Keep posting here as someone will help you as well.My02.:)

Thanks Fatdog2!! I was thinking the same about the dealer, but wanted a good assessment/service for the trans, just dont want to flush it and lose the trans right after. I wonder what all the fluid sevice would cost total? Are the GM wires best or somthing better?

Local shop I trust, said around $1500 for everything listed above, plus shocks and the CAI...
