new project, need as much info as possible...LS6 RX7

i just got a new motor rebuilt (Ls6, ported heads, 232/236 cam, rebuilt tranny) and i was cruisin down to miami and i was going 90 and a bike tried to cut inbetween me and another car that i was passing and nearly wrecked and i had to slam on the brakes for him to get through, and i had no front sway bar and it was wet out, so i started fishtailing and lost it into the alligator alley fence. I am very uckily not injured, jsut some cuts and a cioncussion. however, i need a new car. only the back of the car got demoished so the new motor and everytihng is fine. so. i was thinking about getting a firebird but i hate the flip lights and i dont really want nother camaro, and my friend mentioned to me about the RX7's can be fabricated to have a ls motor.....

i would like as much information about doing this as possible. i need to know roughly how much on top of the cost of the car it will cost for me to do this. i need to know everything that has to be done to the car in order for this swap to work. thanks!

I'm pretty sure you could find a fixed light kit for a bird online somewhers if that was your major issue... as far as the RX7 build would you use an older RX7? or the newer (IE fast & furious) RX7

Did you check the www.ls1tech.com forums? Several people on that board have done that conversion.
