the other day whenever I would turn the wheel power steering fluid would POUR out it looked like it was coming from the pump. since i just fixed the stripped bracket i figured it was my luck as soon as i put it back it would go. so i got a new pump and my buddy put it in cause i was too annoyed to deal with it. come to find out one of the hoses going into the rack got skinned by the crank pully. now that the new pump is already in I dont wanna pull it again to replace the line. so I cut the skinned portion out and there was like a flexi metal piece inside....im not sure if this is the preassure line cause theres another one with more metal untouched. I joined the hose back together with a brass hose coupler. its working good now besides some pump whine. what im worried about is how long will this hold if it is the preassure line? and how would i know for sure if it is or not. thanks in advance and sorry for the longgggg post.
