Has anyone used just 3M tape instead of drilling the holes into Z28 OEM stock spoiler and quarter panels when mounting the 3 piece RS spoiler If i don't have to i really don't like to have to drill into the sheet metal.Its not going to be used at the track so high speeds are'nt a issue.I would just like to cut and grind the mounting studs flush and mount.When i got the spoiler out of the junk yard and took off the nuts i had a HECK of a time getting it off the factory tape was so good. I realize it was under pressure from the hardware for years. I don't mind the work just don't what to create something that's not wrong now.Or also using a few spots of Betalink adhesive with tape. THANKS

 

Idk that it will stay there for u with just the tape. Like u said, without the hardware u will never recreate the bond that ghe one u pulled off in the yard had.
