The Remote to get into my car is really slow reacting and doesn't want to work sometimes....Like i have to press it lik 20 times to get open or press it really hard and it makes me look like a fool trying to get into it cause it wont open...and i need this thing to work good cause i have smooth locks....Is this the battery or the remote? Are alarm systems worth getting(I think replaces all of that stuff)????????

 

you prolly need a new battery in the remote. i kno i do too. Aftermarket alarm systems are nice to have if you have alot of money invested in the car, and yes they will supply you with a Fob (remote).

little tip: once you put a new battery in the Fob, Stand far away and hold the key fob up to the bottom of your chin and try and unlock it....you'll be suprised the distance you can get when you do that.

Trust me i kno, i work at a dealership, and when i need to find a car on the lot, i do that everytime and will find the car in a minute

 

How old is the battery? You may need to replace it. Also, when the fob is opened up, clean off the button contacts. A new battery will do wonders, even with dirty contacts.

 

The chin thing worrks! You head acts as a transmitter.

R u serious about that chin thing? Tell me in more detail how to do it if your serious...

 

Just touch the fob to just about any metal, and VOILA! an oversize antenna! It's a radio transmitter.

 

Press the fob against your chin and press the button.You will double the distance at least that the thing works.
