Now you type in "engine compression test" and hit enter
Now read the results, I'm sure there are hundreds if not thousands.

A compression test will give you the compression of each individual cylinder tested. Low compression on 1 or more cylinders would explain your lack of performance, low compression can come from a burnt valve, bad rings etc. Although a 1990 firebird isn't exactly a rocket ship or anything. What engine and transmission set up do you have?
