How to Replace Parking Light Assembly
Sup all,
This is all I could find in the search fellas.
And I'm having same issue. And after 2 days, I'm starting to think its just not possible... I'm replacing them because of same issue, moisture in them is causing running lights to blow every other week.
I called a buddy of mine that runs a local Bowtie automotive, and he said it can't be done, that the whole bumper has to come off.
Anyone got detailed instructions (with pictures, lol) to hook me up, like a haynes online version of how to get that thing off?
Thanks

i culdnt find nething in my chilton's manual about taking the housing out. but it should just come out. dont be afraid to use a little force. ive taken mine out, just dont remember if they go forward or down the inside
Thanks for the reply moroso99. I went back out there for a few hours. It got to the point where I the housing was creaking really loud, I'm sure it was about to snap in half, so I let up.
It seems that even if I get it out, there is no way to get the new one in without damaging it.
The one I'm trying to replace is the passenger one. The center piece gets stuck trying to come out due to the styrophome in the center of the car, while the right side cannot come out since the housing has a long angled point to it that gets caught on the fog light mounting bracket. If that angled point was about .5 inches shorter, I could wedge it out
I'll keep trying, but if not, I think I'm stuck taking it to the shop and having the whole bumper taken off.
