I have a '95 TA where the door molding is starting to peel from front to back (about 4" hanging off). What is the best adhesive to stick that back on? Also, can I just "patch" that small section, or is it better to remove and begin again?

Check NAPA, I saw a trim & molding adhesive, I think it was from Permatex.

Just pull it all off man and clean all the lefterover goo off. It will make the car look much cleaner and easier to wash also.

That's what I may do when mine starts to go.... but it has a few marks on it, that would otherwise be on my door.

I think the best thing is to simply replace the molding if you want it there still (assuming it comes with adhesive backing). That could be costly though..
