How do I figure out where to cut a hole for fuel pump??
Wow, haven't been here for a while. Anyway, I still have my 95 Z28 Convertible that I bought new even though I don't drive it much anymore, it mostly sits in the garage. So, my gas gauge has quit working most of the time, it jumps around and usually ends up way past full. How do I figure out where to cut a hole from the top to replace the sender and fuel pump? Im going to replace it all since the car has almost 300000 miles on it. I think the floor is different in the convertible than the hard top car. I am not going to drop it out the bottom, too much work for an old man like me.
Thanks. |

There’s a “sticky” in the “Fuel and Ignition” forum. Lot's of dead links, but if you scroll through it there is info for both coupes and convertibles (closer to the end - see post #122).
