Having a real hard time on choosing a real good exhaust system for my 02 z28, it has hooker long tubes and catless mids, the owner out the stock muffler back on and it's waaaaaay to quiet, I'm looking for a nice deep sounding exhaust with no rasp, what's the best combo for this set up, I do plan on installing a cam kit as well. Also has the ls6 intake and slp lid and smooth bellow. Any help would be most appreciated

By "catless mids" are you referring to a Y-pipe?

Yes, catless y pipe, I should have been more specific, and yes I've heard both slp loudmouth 1 and 2, I was leaning towards 2, because I'm wanting something deep, clean and aggressive, the rasp sounding tone sounds cheap to me and that's what I'm trying to avoid.

If you want no rasp at all, Corsa is the answer. It's drone free, too.

I hope you didn't purchase and install an LS6 intake; that's what your 2002 came with from the factory!

My buddy has corsa on his lt1 and that also sounded great, and no I did not buy an ls6 intake just stating it had one wasn't sure if that made a difference or not, thank you for the reply that helps alot.
