Re: help programming 2nd remote

hi, you will need to re-program both of them the second one right after the first one

1) first remove the radio fuse.( the fuse box on the drivers side of the dash. fuse on bottom right. a 15amp fuse)

2) put key in ignition. turn key to on position then back to off position. do this three times within five seconds leaving the ignition in the on position. do not start the car during this process.

3)you will hear the locks locking then unlocking telling you have done this correct.

4) on the fob of the first one hold down the lock and un-lock buttons at the same time. (for about ten to twenty seconds.) you will hear a lock telling it was done correct.

5) after hearing that, pick up the second fob and repeat step four right away. (it should cycle through the lock again. showing all is complete.

6) put the radio fuse back in, and all should be good.

i am pretty sure this was the way i did it, but it was a while ago. now i only have one good fob. if this does not do it for you, you are above my skill level. i hope this helps you out.

Re: help programming 2nd remote

finally got it straightened out. somehow jumping 4 and 8 at the DLC didnt ground the circuit. i had to ground it at the keyless entry reciever. then i was able to get it in program mode and program my remotes as per shoebox's directions for a 95. many thanks to shoebox. without the drawings and schematics he has available i would have never figured it out. thanks
