headlight motor messed up
On my '93 firehawk
I heard a crack the other night as I switching my headlights on. When I took a look under the hood, I found that the driver's side headlight motor had blown it's cover off. Looks like it was glued on at some point. It's a round disc, about 2.5" dia with a squared side. Fits up against the motor on the side facing the radiator. Anyhow, I'm driving around with one headlight and it's only a matter of time until I get hit with a $30 ticket. I blew both Hella fog lamps out somehow last week (one at a time, two days apart), so my car looks really funny at night. The peice of headlight motor is sitting in my glovebox while I ponder how to repair this motor. I found a replacement for $100 if I have to buy one. Can these motors be pulled out without pulling the whole headlight assembly out (the main reason I never fixed the 92)? it looks like 3 bolts on the side. The worst part is that I can't upgrade it to gain HP LOL |

I was thinking 4th gen 93-97 issue, I guess it also applies to V6s. So many forums to choose from :) Thanks for the link guys, I'll check it out. |
