Header Question?

I am looking at getting some headers pretty soon. I am pretty dead set on the pacesetter long tubes for my LT1. They are cheap and supposedly some really good quality. I was thinking about the ceramic coating. Many people have told me it isn't worth it except for the looks. They said header wrap would be MUCH better. Also do the pacesetters come with good gaskets/hardware or is it cheap like all the other setups?

What all parts will I need for this install?(02 exts?) Where is the cheapest place ton find all of this?? Thanks!

Headder wrap will hold mosture and encourage your headders to rust. Ceramic coating will protect your headders. I wouldn't think that wrap would be that much better than a coating, because the coating goes on the inside as well. Not to mention that wrap looks like ass.

I'm sure you will need better bolts and gaskets. I run stage 8 bolts and copper gaskets. Some run aluminum. I have no leaks in mine. You will need O2 extensions. I went with 24".

thunderracing sells the metal OEM gaskets...much better than what usually comes with the headers.

wrap looks like ass and i don't think it helps any better...coating is sweet
