Got the scratches off my windshield

I put on new wiper inserts and didn't lock them properly so the first time I used them they moved and scratched the windshield, passenger side worse than driver side. Eastwood makes a kit to remove scratches like this and I decided to give it a try The pad is a special thick felt disk and it comes with a polishing compound that you mix with water. All I had was a drill and it was a little ackward to hold but it did work. It worked perfectly and the scratches are completely gone. Slow but effective. It slings polishing compound all over you and your car so wear old clothes and be ready for a wash job at the end. I wish I'd had this kit back when I still had my '62. It had wiper haze marks on it and I could have just polished them completely off. Cost about $40 including shipping.
