Gauge Cluster Switch

Ok is there an online write up about how to switch clusters. I am pretty clear on how to do it...remove dash, unscrew old cluster, connect new one and screw it back in. How do you switch the mileage counters on them?

Thanks

Re: Gauge Cluster Switch

You need a program to do it. You can have a dealer synch it with your pcm

Re: Gauge Cluster Switch

Just remove the back cover (there's lots of screws) and then remove the board. The odometer is a removable module. Swap them over and you're done. I've done it long time ago so I don't remember the details anymore but it was pretty easy, just make sure you take all the bolts out of that board before trying to take it out.
