firebird headlights

What is the best way to keep the headlights from freezing closed in the winter for a 99 firebird that is parked outside ? This is my daughters car, thats in Ohio. No garage is available to her.

you need to keep water/moisture out of the mechanism. so a car cover is the only thing i can think of.

Use some grease on the arm which moves the lights up and down. This would make sure the water won't sit and freeze things up.

Ok, Thanks for your answers. I'll try the grease.

I've never had a problem, even in Canada, just have to let it warm up for a few minutes...
