Can smell anitfreeze inside of car
Well, for the last 2 years I have been able to smell antifreeze inside of my car and the windows get hazzy. I don't drive this car much so I never really worried about it, but this year I plan on driving it alot more. There is no antifreeze on the passenger side floor and I NEVER have to top of the radiator or overflow bowl.
So, why can I smell antifreeze and never loose any.
The car in question is a 1991 camaro z-28 with a 350.

Well the usual culprit is the heater core or hoses attached to it. Doesn't take much fluid before you can smell it and the air blower will missed the window.
I'd start there.

I will have to look into it. I was thinking heater core as well, but did not have the usual fluid on the floor. Thanks for your input. This weekend is looking like it is all booked up, but maybe the following weekend I'll take a look.

+1 for heater core... i have a 91 RS and had the same problem (among others). I ended up swapping in an LT-1. the odd thing though, is that with a good flush before putting the new motor in, my issue seemed to have stopped.
I didn't flush the system with that in mind, i was more trying to get all of the rusty crap out of it before contaminating the new motor and fresh radiator, but, somehow i have no more antifreeze smell in my car.
