I am considering upgrading my exhaust system, I am debating amongst mids and LTs since I may lower the car 1" in the future, but that's for another discussion...

True duals are what I really want and if I can make them work well, I think I'll go for it and just deal witha 4x4 looking car

I was wondering, has anyone ever done true duals through an H/X pipe but instead of using mufflers, used catalytic converters? I'm curious as to how this would work. I mean because if you are running an open cutout before the muffler, that is essentially what you are doing, but in a true dual setup this would help muffle the sound a tad bit(probably getting rid of rasp and stuff) and also get a not so funky smell from your pipes seeping through your open windows at stoplights
