I have a 97 Z28 and the driver side window has been acting up lately. The window will roll down no problem but when I go to bring it back up, when it is completely down, it will stop an inch before it is closed completely. If I let the car sit for a minute the window will go up the rest of the way. The window also moves a little bit back and forth (from the back of the car to the front and vise versa, not sided to side). Could it be the motor is going out or is the window off track and if so how do I fix it? Thank you for your time and I appreciate any help.

Did it also move a little from front to back? I thought it was the motor but am not sure if it is off the track. Is it hard to take the door panel off and how much is a window motor?
