Differences in '93-'97 and '98-'02

Does anyone know where I can get a list or something with the less obvious changed between these years (obvious being, LS1, headlights etc).

I'm lookin' into getting a 4th gen (I like the 3rd gen body, but the 4th feels more classy =) ) and the 98-02 are a big jump in price from the 93 to 97's so I'm thinking theres some really good changes.

And does anyone know if its possible to "convert" a 93-97 to a 98-02 (like the front end, interior, LS1 (maybe LS2?).

Sorry if this has been posted, but I did search and couldn't find a damn thing useful.

The 97s have the same interior as 98-02. It IS possible to convert the front ends, you need all the brackets and whatnot plus the front end, hood, fenders, lights, etc.

for the changes in appearance, you can check some car review sites, old records. I have seen them highlight changes on the year 98 onwards model. Hope this helps.

There is a "sticky" on our own "Appearance" forum covering the Camaro front end retrofit. You can find posts regarding the Firebird front end swap with a "search".

Is the front end the only thing different?

The engine on the 98-02 feels and sounds more refined. My super sensitive bat ears love that faint whine, very supercharger esque...Go to ls1tech.com, there's a whole lot of differences, too tired and too late to name them all. There's even some differences between 98-02's.
