Dash and Trim Panel

Anyone know how to get to the drivers side trim panel off? I can get all but 2 bolts out. I can see them under the dash, but it feels too brittle and I don't want to pry up on it.

Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

You'll need to remove the dash cover.

First remove both the a-pillar trim pieces then gently and carefully pry the dash cover off. It is held on with velcro.

Once the dash cover is off you will have access to all the bolts.

By a-pillar trim do you mean the door trim on either side of the windshield?

The a-pillars are the windshield posts. The trim is between the windshield and the door window opening.

If your car is a hard top the trim will go back to the rear top corner of the door glass.

If your car has t-tops or is a convertible the trim will end at the top of the windshield.

Damn, wish I had T-tops now! I'll give it a shot as soon as I get some time to play with it. Are the a-pillars a pita or pretty easy?

Easy on t-top and convertible, I've never owned a hardtop.

Just want to jump in and ask question along the same lines. jtblckmaro mentioned the dash cover, is this the near two hundred dollar piece that is always cracked and has the defrost vent? If it is that easy, I am going shopping now. I thought is would be more difficult. Jtblkmaro, thanks for the post.
