Custom Y-pipe

How much do you guys think I will have to pay for a custom y-pipe? I have a 1999 z/28 w/ long tube headers, and its been lowerd. (yes, it was not the smartest move on my part.) Anyway, just looking for a ballpark number. Thanks!

i can't remember some estimates i got from FLP when i went there for some welding.....but, i also don't think the numbers would be comparable to your shops.

so - i'm just curious, why don't you just call your shop for an estimate????

I got quote from FLP for a custom catted y-pipe for my long tubes and it was in the 500.00 ballpark. If I wanted a stainless y-pipe it would have pushed the price up quite a bit more they said so I didn't ask..

Re: Custom Y-pipe

that sounds about right - which raises another point - were you looking for cats too, goaliedave40? either way - give some shops around you a call.

Re: Custom Y-pipe

You should be able to have a y pipe made for around $200.
