cost to tint windows in an F-body?

I plan on having my windows tinted in the next month or so. I was just wondering what you guys have paid to get it done? Thanks.

I think around here i can get it done for 140-150 all the way around, which is pretty good.

Less than $40.00
You can buy pre cut pieces of window tint on ebay for any vehicle. I did my side windows a few weeks ago and it was a piece of cake. Just having the pieces cut to shape takes all the work out of it. I had both pieces put on in less than 15 minutes.

The other nice thing is if you remove the door panels, you wont have to fight the rubber strip and you can further ensure that the film is applied properly. Several sellers even supply the squeege and the solution which is nothing more than baby shampoo water mix.

Plus you can go any percentage darkness you want.

How would you do the back by yourself? I have tinted many cars before, and this back window looks impossible! there is no way I would want to even attempt that as one peice... it would look like @ss. lol

I paid about $170.00 for 20% on the sides and 15% on the rear with a 5% front strip and 5% on the T-tops.

$180 for 20% on the two sides and the back. an extra $100 for the whole windshield which is 35% and a 5% sun visor thing. getting the windshield done makes the tint on the rest of the car look a lot better.

$180 for the rear to be done in 1 piece, and the side windows as well, limo tint on all, with a lifetime warranty, and 3M brand tint.

Yea. Getting the windshield tinted is a great idea! Lose weight with the Deleted !Sunglasses Mod, who needs to see the road anyways??:no::rolleyes:

IMO, it should cost $500 extra to tint the windshield.

Not trying to be an @$$, but why tint the windshield? Spend the money under the hood instead of worrying about looks.

Is there anywhere I could just get tint for one window? How hard is it to take the old tint off?

My car had one of the guides break on the driver side window and it messed the tint up. Also...what % tint came stock as an option?

$140 2 weeks ago. 5% hatch, 20% sides, plus I kept my defroster which was my main goal. Others wanted to scrape the defrost lines alltogether.

I have never heard of people having to get rid of the rear defroster:confused:
