Car stutters in 1st gear...

I have a 1994 v6 manual camaro. So i just noticed today that when i start from a dead stop in first gear you can feel the car give a stutter for a second or two at like 1.5 RPMs i'd say. Like you can even see the stick stutter back and forth. Its hard to explain i guess and i've never had this happen before but i have a feeling it means something bad. Right before this started happening i put in new engine oil and i'm sure it's the right kind so i don't think that would be the problem especially because i'm assuming this is a transmission problem which would make me cry :(

It felt that if i started faster and pushed down the gas faster it was less noticeable but it was still there.

Any ideas what's wrong if anything? Or please just say i'm freaking out over nothing because that would make me soooo happy haha

Does it seem like the engine is misfiring, or it is simply the "shake" as evidenced by the movement of the shifter? If its just the shifter, check the transmission support. I believe the V6's have a hydraulic support, as opposed to the rubber mount used on all the others.

Is the clutch slipping?
