Can ne1 turn off rear 02's (atlanta area)
 

The used 02 simms a bought online are not working. I am getting the check engine light. I thought maybe this time I would see if someone had a programmer or scan tool that could just turn off my rear 02 sensors. I could pay $ of course. Metro Atlanta area. Thanks.

You'll need to send your PCM to one of the mail-order tuners that are frequently mentioned here, get a VIN limted copy of LS1_Edit or similar software, or find someone with an expensive "unlimited" copy.

Keep in mind.... if you have an emissions check, and they hook up to the ALDL connector, the fact that the rear O2 sensors are "programmed out" will show up as a 'system not ready'.... in some states, there is a limit on how many 'not readies' you can have and still pass. Using sims avoids the 'not ready' issue.

If they don't work, send them back, and get a new set somewhere else.
