Black K&N filter???

I just got a GMPP CAI for my car off of a guy here and well it was not what he made it out to be..... to say the least IMO....

Does K&N make a black air filter or are mine just shot? I washed them and it did not do much good.

I have never seen a black K&N. Did you use the the K&N cleaner on it?

On a side note, do you still have a YZF? Just looking for another guy to ride with.
