Those would be BFG's. I'd check out www.tirerack.com they have a bunch of time ratings on there.

Re: best tires

I like the BFG KDW but they don't do all that well in the snow. If it's wet or dry outside, they are awesome.

These cars arent meant to be driven in the snow. Instead of buying new tires buy a $500 Honda to drive in the winter. Your Fbod will thank you

Re: best tires

ok first low profile tires and snow = you dead. they're like oil and water they dont mix. now best tires though goodyear eagle f1 gsd3's amazing street tires. get a beater for winter trust me. if not then get yourself some blizzacks and dont worry about low profile tires till spring.

Re: best tires

I've run the KDWS, a generic M+S, and now my latest set - Sumitomo HTR+. The KDWS were OK dry and wet, but were only OK in the snow. The generics were OK dry and wet, but actually a bit better in the snow (they did have more tread, so it's probably not a design issue), but the Sumitomo -Wow. I mean Wow. I could squeel the tires easily with the KDWS, and generics. I have to REALLY try to get sound or slip from the Sumitomo. Rain performance is EXCELLENT. Even in the rain I keep traction VERY well. I haven't seen snow performance yet, but I have no doubt it'll be better than the KDWS of generics that I have tried in the snow.

When decision time came for me, I hit TireRack.com, and looked through the top rated ultra highest performance all season tires.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...jsp?type=UHPAS

The Sumitomo's were my 4th choice, actually. But were the only ones available instantly here locally.
