Battery Tender - Purchase help
I'm looking to buy a Baterry Tender plus 12V 1.25amp within the next few day's. Getting one cause my car usually sits for a week or more at a time before I am able to drive her. I've done some research on Yahoo!, Google, and Ebay. Finding many differences in pricing plus shipping.
Eastwood - Reg. $59.99 (sale $49.99) + shipping ??? =
Battery Country - Reg $59.99 Sale $48.99) + Shipping $5.95 = $54.94
Batter Tender site - $59.95 + shipping ??? =
Auto Geek - Reg. $59.95 (sale $55.00) + Shipping ??? =
Ebay's listing vary quite a bit as you know.....
Which way to go and what's peoples opinions??
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Battery Tender - Purchase help
Eastwood shipping on an item from $30.01 - $50.00 is high.... $10.95. From $50.01 - $75.00 it is $12.95, so if you see some other odds and ends you need to order, it reduces the overall percentage on shipping. But to me that's still a little high.
The Battery Tender is excellent. My car sits for 6 months without being run extensively, and the battery is always in good shape.

Re: Battery Tender - Purchase help
I would highly recomend the Battery tender Jr. It's about $35-40 and many times you can find it at you local parts store. The only difference is it's rated at 3/4 amp. I bought one from Pep Boys for my fathers diesel Benz when he went to Germany for 6 months. I also have a Battery tender 4pack that I use on my 2 bikes and ridding mower during the winter.

Thanks for the links "Joe Bellman", ordered one just now. Can't beat that price on a blow out Thursday sale!!!
Also thanks for pointing that out on the board when cars are stored in unheated garages. I forgot to post that info.
