B4C alternator

My alternator is going out and I want to replace it with the B4C one. Where can I find it?

It's the same as the regular Z alternator.

I thought the Police Package cars got a higher output alternator than the normal ones? This isn't the case?

*edit: if there is no differnce, who has the best price on the stock alternator?*

Never seen a higher amp than the stock Z one on a 4th gen. The 98+ models actually have less amps than the 94-97s.

It looks like the number has changed numerous times. The latest I find is GM PART # 19152060 . It's still a remanufactured alternator, not new.

Auto Zone show two, one new and one rebuilt, both Duralast 102amp Alt.
Summit has Power Master 200amp Alt. if you want something heavier.
There are also aftermarket chrome/colored Alt.
Try searching the WEB!

I had a local shop rebuild my 1993 Alt. It now puts out 170 amps. I noticed a big difference with my stereo as well. Stock alternator kept dying because of the stereo.
