Anything I can do to make sure I pass smog?

I live in CA so I have to pass the new dyno smog test.
Everything I have is CARB exempt I think.
The only thing that worries me is my rksport/as&m headers does not have provisions for a precat.
Will not having a precat make me fail?
I'm not too worried about the visual part just the emissions.

What's the precat? The 02s before the cat?

I passed with my MAC headers that aren't CARB exempt, but they have all the smog hook ups.

The precat is like a cat but it comes before the cat.
On the 96 camaro, it's located after the driver side exhaust manifold I believe.

Also, after changing back to my OBD2 pcm I'm getting a SES light.
Hope I dont have to get new o2 simms. Those suckers are expensive.

They will fail you right off the bat if your SES light is on. Reset your PCM right before you go to get it smogged so that is doesn't have time to come back on.

There was a part on the passengers side manifold before the cat on my stock system. I thought it was a resonator or something, whatever it is, I passed smog without it. :p
