Has anyone heard of an aftermarket door lock system that unlocks as you approach the vehicle like in Mercedes and some new Mazdas like the CX-7 and the CX-9 have? I just thought that would be awesome to keep your keys in your pocket and have it automatically unlock.
These systems also allow the ignition to recognize your presence so it'll let you just use a push button start and off you go.
Just thinkin about puttin' one in my trans am

Did a bunch of searching.. for passive keyless entry.
Can't find anything good, really. Probably best bet is to grab the stuff from a production car, or buy the modules from a dealership *shrug*

here's something I found, and it's not too expensive either

Not sure about the quality though. And this doesn't let you start the car, it just locks and unlocks the doors as you approach/walk away from it
