Air Pump

Can ANYONE tell me if I take out the PCM fuse for a few minutes and then do an OBD2 emissions test it will nt notice the A.I.R. system running incorrectly?? I have to get the car inspected but I've lost my vacuum solenoid and bleed vlve and the ca is still throwing an SES. I thought that just plugging the air pump in would solve it but then I cant find these parts anywhere...so now I'm tring to figure out quick way around this problem. Thank you for ALL the help!!

Re: Air Pump

Unplug the electrical connector on the back of the air pump. Make sure the fuse for the pump is still good.

Re: Air Pump

Unplugging only makes the air pump not turn on and throw a code. Fuses are good. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Re: Air Pump

you need to fix it so it works or have the AIR code/test programmed out

oh, you need to drive the car for a while after clearing codes(needs to run all the tests), or you will stll fail the test
