make sure the vacumn line to your HVAC controls is intact(IIRC, 93's still had vac controls)

it should connect to the passenger side of the intake and go into the harness

there is a vent door that is opened by the vaccum line, if the hoses are all in place I have seen where the vent door gets stuck, maybe by heat melting the rubber seal or something else getting it stuck. May need to pull it apart and check it out.

Here is what it was. Ready for this one!

the battery leaked, and burned a hole in the tray. acid burned the vacuum line that starts by splitter at the firewall on the passenger side and somehow goes under the battery.

That's what my wrench told me last night.

Very common for the hose to get cut in that area, even if there is no battery leakage. The hose can chafe on the metal edge as it passes under the battery. I put some mechanical protection in that area on mine, so it would not happen again. It goes under the battery to the vacuum reserve tank.
