AC clutch making bad noises
This is on a 94 Z28.
We were cruising down the interstate yesterday and all of the sudden a loud grinding/buzzing/vibration noise started up (AC turned on, noise goes away when AC is turned off). It turns out the noise is coming from the AC clutch. Clutch is still engaging and turns but make the aforementioned noise's. Am I looking at a clutch replacement or more/less? Also, I've got a pretty good amount of green oil (I'm assuming out of the compressor) on the bottom side of the compressor. So maybe I should just replace the whole compressor? Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks!
