Abs, brake and asr light lit on dash

I have a 98 camaro. Abs into and brake light stay in. Found tear wire for speed sensor was cut. Spliced back together. Drove the car light went off for a couple minutes. All three lights are back on while I drive. I have c6 18 inch rims in the back and 17.s in the front. Could this be a cause for the abs inop, brake and asr to stay lit.

Possibly. How long does it take before the lights come on? Many ABS faults are almost immediately indicated but not for unbalanced tire sizes. I think it would take a bit of driving first.

The fact the front and rear wheels are different diameters wouldn’t affect the braking system. It is the outside diameter of the tires that is important. What size tires do you have on each of those wheels?

The 1” larger tire diameter in the back may be enough to throw things off. Best thing to do is have the EBTCM scanned for codes. That will tell you what is causing the problem.... better than guessing. It's very complex system.
