98 base model Power window issues

Ok so this was my first car and im in the process of cleaning the car up now that i can afford two cars. Both windows wouldnt roll down so i ripped out both motors. Both motors went in easy. Now here is my issue. The driver side window works perfect and the passenger side will only go down. I pulled the motor and put another new motor in to find the same issue. I broke out my test light and have power going to the motor plug using the passenger side switch. Then i tested the power to the plug using the driver side switch and it has no power going to the plug. I pulled both switches out and tested the backs and i have power where it is suppose to be on both switches. So what is my problem? Ive also replaced the driver side window switch in the last 6 months and the 30 amp breaker in the fuse panel. I have no other electrical issues with the car. What are yalls thoughts on the issue?

Re-check the driver side switch. The only thing the switch does other than applying motor power is to swap the power polarity to the motor. When the switch is activated either way, there should be 12v dc between the tan and light blue wires. The polarity of the 12v should reverse between up and down.

If the driver switch reads ok, then check the passenger side switch. There should be 12 v dc at the brown and dark blue wires, and the polarity should switch when you change the direction of the switch button.

If those work ok, I would suspect the express down module.

so after I put the door panel back on and fidgeted with the driver side switch I had power goin to the passenger side motor plug. Still no action on the motor though. I’ve ordered in a new switch and another new motor. So tomorrow will tell me if the problem is one of the two. Also I did check my grounds and power are switch at the passenger plug
