69 SS battery issues

Hey all...not sure if anybody has had this happen, I have a 1969 SS with a 427 crate ...the battery keeps going dead. The only thing I can see running is my clock. This battery dies after a few days...is this enough to kill my battery??? Anybody else run into this? Alternator was tested and turned out to be fine, not sure what is causing this but I'm afraid to drive it at this point...summer is coming, any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Re: 69 SS battery issues

Measure parasitic current draw by putting an amp meter in series with the positive cable. If there is more than a fraction of an amp draw with the key off, start pulling fuses and disconnecting fusible links until you find the source of the current draw.
