3800 Series II timing cover

So recently I've taken my timing cover apart (3.8 V6) to replace my oil pump, but soon as I start the car, half the radiator immediately fills the oil pan. I tried with and without sealant and the same result occurred. So does anyone know the right way to mount a timing cover? It has NEVER done this until I dug into the oil pump.

If it makes a difference, I over torqued, broke, and extracted the lower bolt on the crankshaft position sensor, and the car sat 3 months before a start.
