Heating problem?

My heater does not seem to ever get warm no matter how long the car runs. Just wondering if there is something I can check myself before bringing it to a shop. Thanks guys

Re: Heating problem?

With the engine warm, feel the heater hoses. They should both be hot. If they aren't it's likely the heater core is plugged. You can pull the hoses off the pump and flush it with a garden hose. Do not get the Opti wet. Refill coolant and bleed all the air out when done.
