Start Problem

Start Problem
I have a 1999 Camaro Z28 with a start problem; I also have a full set of service manuals. When I hit start the solenoid doesn't click and instrument panel loses power-gauges go to zero. I would like to use the step-by-step trouble shooter in the service manual.
I can't find anything in the schematics that relates the pin calls in the step-by-step check to the pins on the relay. The relay just has four pins, but no pin identification.
Is there a place in the manuals where this information is made available.

Re: Start Problem
I was under the assumption that the car turns things off when your attempting to start the car, so all the power goes to the starter. I would check your battery for a full charge and the test the starter and alternator for fault. A low battery will usually be the cause. Not sure about your manual question your asking.
