1994 Camaro Wipers Not Working

1994 Chevrolet Camaro V6

My windshield wipers have been acting up lately. They only work on the HI setting at first, but after "warming up" (I guess) they will work on LO and some of the intermittent settings. Sometimes they will not work at all, followed by the gauges bouncing. The 25 amp fuse is intact, and I could not find any relays in the relay box that pertained to windshield wipers.

Is this a common Camaro problem? Whatever it is, looking for input on what could be the problem.

Thank you!

It might be the wiper motor. I had to repair a busted wiper linkage one day, thinking it was a bad motor, and I realized I left the wipers on! The power was on for awhile as I tried to reset the motor with the wiper linkage, leaving it on by mistake and the motor go hot! Well, after letting it cool down and getting it assembled it works but I don't have that low cycle anymore. I may have worn out the timing mechanism or something involved in regulating the wiper action. It works on high but doesn't move on low.

Honestly, if the wipers still work, just leave it alone until the motor dies but you should try to pick up some used wiper motors before then. Honestly I don't mind cycling the wipers on and off at high speed but I do miss the very low wiper speed I used to have. For the car being over twenty years old I am getting my money's worth out of the stock wiper motor!
