Lucas injectors too short

Anyone have an issue with lucas injectors being too short? I have the injectors set all the way in the fuel rail but they dont set all the way in the lt1 intake manifold injector bores, like the stock ones do.

Do you have the clips in the right grooves?

I had SVOs that were a little shorter and still worked, but I don't remember my Lucas injectors being too short back when I had those.

All the way in the fuel rail? The clips hold the injectors out some, they shouldn't go all the way in.
